INTERPRETACIÓN:

Avenged Sevenfold es probablemente una de las bandas de metal alternativo más activas del momento, con más de 8 millones de ventas hasta el momento. Aunque el grupo destaca por sus fuertes ritmos, también tiene bonitas baladas como Dear God, que quiere decir Querido Dios. La canción es un canto al amor, pidiéndole a Dios que cuide de su amada. El uso de Dios es una expresión, ya que para nada se trata de una canción religiosa.
